1. Overview
The PTT5001D series is a family of high performance 1550nm direct modulated analog transmitters. This 1550nm transmitter is an integrated part of the high densityPTP3001D headend platform developed to support and enhance the deployment of HFC, fiber to home (FTTH) as well as RFoG (Radio Frequency over Glass) network architectures. ThePTT5001D uses a high-performance DFB direct modulated laser with a single optical output power of 8 or 10dBm. With a built-in pre-distortion compensation circuit, thePTT5001D series transmitter provides excellent CTB and CSO performance. Module parameters can be monitored and configured through thePTP3001D system management control module using the touch screen or by using a PC (web GUI or SNMP agent).
